Complete list of area codes for the USA,
Canada & Caribbean.
|
|
|
| In the USA, we use an "area code" in our
telephone numbers. The "area code" is the first three numbers in our
telephone numbers. For example, in this telephone number: 212 330
6808, "212" is the area code. These area codes are usually assigned
to a state or region within a state or, in some cases, cities or areas within
cities. New York City, for example, at our last count contained up to 7
area codes within it's city limits. 212 & 646: Manhattan, 718: Queens,
917: cell phones... But, in most cases, one state has an area code.
Maine is 207, North Dakota is 701, etc... You will find all of the area
listed below with the geographic locations listed beside them. Remember to
bookmark our site. Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "D". |
